DULUTH — Superior Street from Lake Avenue to Fifth Avenue West will not see much car traffic for several days, but will see a lot of pedestrian traffic for the annual Sidewalk Days downtown.

The events began on Wednesday and will last until Friday.

Sidewalk Days features over 100 food and retail vendors, music, children’s activities and more. Wednesday’s events included the 16th annual YMCA Sidewalk Shuffle and the Kolar Classic Car Show.

Following the three-day Sidewalk Days event, Superior Street will host the Dubh Linn Street Dance on Saturday at 8 p.m., featuring blues music from the Lamont Cranston Band.

Dan Williamson joined the Duluth News Tribune in June 2021, where he is involved in digital content including video, photos and podcasts, as well as breaking news coverage.
