AC Boardwalk named New Jersey’s most overrated attraction
AC Boardwalk named New Jersey’s most overrated attraction

Is your favorite place in New Jersey completely overrated? I’m sure everyone has something in their home state that they would defend to the death, which is normal.

There is a lot to do in New Jersey if you really sit down and listen.

There are all the coastal cities, Six Flags, museums, aquariums, etc. We could sit down and make a long list of which tourist attraction is the best, but this website has already done that for us.

According to exploreplanet.com, the Atlantic City Boardwalk is not only New Jersey’s most famous tourist attraction, but also the state’s most overrated.

This website ranks the most overrated tourist attractions in each state, and for some reason AC in NJ takes the win!

“Tourists have been visiting the Atlantic City Boardwalk for many years, but for some time now it has lacked the glitz and glamour of its past.” – Explore Planet

She describes it as “a run-down ghost town with ugly casinos, tacky souvenir shops and a high crime rate.” Atlantic City is one of New Jersey’s most famous attractions and I don’t think New Jerseyans will like the slander on this website.

New Jersey is like our younger sibling in some ways. We can walk around and make fun of it all we want, but when an outsider comes in and starts saying things, that’s a problem.

Do you agree, or do you think there is another attraction in our state that rivals AC’s boardwalk?
