Among them is world number two Rory McIlroy, who will be making his first start since a devastating loss at the 2024 US Open last month. But history is on Rory’s side. Last year, he birdied the final two holes at the Renaissance Club on Sunday to win his first event of 2023, making him the defending champion this week.

Other stars like Xander Schauffele and Ludvig Aberg will fight to defend his title.

Golf Channel and CBS will televise the 2024 Genesis Scottish Open, while ESPN+, Peacock and Paramount+ will offer online streaming coverage.
