FC Dallas appoints Marisa Gonzalez as Senior Director of Girls Programming for the youth club

FRISCO, Texas (June 20, 2024) – FC Dallas has introduced Marisa Gonzalez as Senior Director of Girls Programming for the youth club. Gonzalez will also work with the club’s General Counsel and Athlete Safety Officer to develop and implement FC Dallas’ compliance and player welfare programs for the club’s underage athletes.

Before joining FC Dallas, Gonzalez was the Club Director/Director of Soccer for Noria Football Club in Puebla, Mexico. Gonzalez was also the head coach of Noria FC’s U18 women’s team. Noria FC is a club affiliated with the amateur sector of the Federación Mexicana de Fútbol Asociación (FMF).

FC Dallas Youth is and will continue to be committed to improving opportunities for our female players and teams. Marisa’s role will be instrumental in enhancing our girls program and supporting our players and staff on a daily basis.”

Born in Puebla, Mexico, Gonzalez holds an A-professional license from the Mexican Football Federation. She earned her MBA in Sports Administration from Alfredo Di Stefano Real Madrid CF University and graduated from Southwest Minnesota State University with degrees in International Business and Marketing.

In 2020, Gonzalez was appointed the first general manager of Club Puebla Femenil, which competes in Liga MX Femenil, the premier division of women’s football in Mexico. Gonzalez spent one year at Club Puebla Femenil.
