Emiliano’s Mexican Restaurant opens in downtown Duluth, MN
Emiliano’s Mexican Restaurant opens in downtown Duluth, MN

As of Friday (June 21), another new restaurant is officially open in downtown Duluth! I first learned about this Mexican restaurant when I noticed a new sign right across from the station.

Welcome Emiliano’s

Emiliano’s is a Mexican restaurant opening on Superior Street in downtown Duluth. It is located right next to RT Quinlan’s and in the former Loaf and Ladle restaurant.

You may also recognize the location as the former Toasty’s restaurant, which has since moved to the same street.

Emiliano’s serves classics like burritos, salads and tacos. Fajitas, vegetarian dishes and combination plates are also on the menu. Soups and appetizers are also available. This could be very dangerous for me as it is right across the street from the train station!

Margaritas and other drinks will also be on the menu in the near future, but not right away. But don’t worry – the wait will definitely be worth it. Isn’t a margarita always worth the wait?

Starting Friday (June 21), Emiliano’s will be celebrating an unofficial grand opening. Stop by if you’re heading out for the Grandma’s Marathon festivities this weekend and give it a try! I know I’ll definitely be trying it out in the near future.

This is a very welcome addition to downtown. Mexican food always sounds good and this cute little shop will give me that delicious kick! The address is 220 West Superior Street.

Emiliano’s is open every day of the week from 11am to 9pm. You can even make reservations in advance. The owner describes the atmosphere as a “friendly vibe” with “flavorful, authentic” food. Yummy!
