ALBANY, NY (NEWS10) — Five people have been charged in connection with a drug conspiracy in the Capital Region, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office. Four others have already pleaded guilty in the case.

Felix Arencibia, 38, from Amsterdam:


  • Conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine and fentanyl
  • Possession of methamphetamine and fentanyl with intent to resell
  • Distribution of methamphetamine

Todd Austin, 64, of Gloversville:

  • Conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine and fentanyl
  • Possession of methamphetamine and fentanyl with intent to resell
  • Distribution of methamphetamine

Ahmad Burke, 66, of Albany:

  • Conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine and fentanyl
  • Possession of methamphetamine and fentanyl with intent to resell

Kevisha DuBoise, 27, of Schenectady:

  • Conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine and fentanylPossession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and fentanylDistribution of methamphetamine

Christian Mur-Santana, 28, of Las Vegas, Nevada:

  • Conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine and fentanyl
  • Possession of methamphetamine and fentanyl with intent to resell
  • Distribution of methamphetamine

All defendants are accused of participating in a drug conspiracy that resulted in the distribution of methamphetamine in the Capital Region, which the U.S. Attorney’s Office says occurred between November 2022 and July 2023.

If convicted, Arencibia and Mur-Santana face prison sentences of 10 to life. Austin, Burke and DuBoise face a maximum sentence of 20 years.
