Getting started with shop campaigns

Watch this video to get started with Shop campaigns in just a few clicks, or follow the steps below.

Are you already running a shop campaign? Discover our optimization tips here.

Navigate to the advertising section of the shop channel

Once you open the channel, navigate to the “Advertising” section. If this is your first time setting up a campaign, you will see the “Create Campaign” option, which will open the campaign editor.

Choose your platforms

All campaigns run in the Shop app and on the Shop.app website, but you can also extend your campaigns to external platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and Google. You still only pay for conversions.

Enter your campaign parameters

In the campaign editor, you can give your campaign a name and set your parameters (e.g. daily budget, maximum customer acquisition cost, and ROI of ad spend). Once you publish it, the campaign will go live in the app approximately 24 hours later.

Please note: If you are not currently eligible for Store Campaigns, you will not be able to access the campaign setup page.

Track and iterate performance

A few hours after your campaign goes live, performance data will appear in the Advertising section of the Shop channel. Results are aggregated across campaigns and can be drilled down into by clicking on the campaign name.
