IPSWICH, MA — A Massachusetts woman was killed in a three-car crash in Maine Saturday afternoon, according to Maine State Police.

The woman, 32-year-old Casey Lubell of Ipswich, was in the back seat of a Subaru Impreza at 12:12 p.m. when the collision occurred at an intersection in Limington, Maine, police said.

The other two vehicles involved were a Lexus RX300 traveling in the opposite direction of the Subaru on Route 11 and a Jeep Cherokee traveling north on Route 117, police said.

When police arrived on the scene, they found two vehicles on the road and one that had struck the porch of a house at the intersection.

Three other people in the Subaru and the driver of the Lexus were also injured, but according to police their injuries are not life-threatening.

The road was closed for about three hours and the circumstances leading to the accident are still being investigated, police said.
